Most of society is inaccessible to people with hearing loss.  4 million people cannot hear at a functional level and there is no proper provision made for them; their right to information and communication is neglected.

 

We believe that: 

• Proper evaluation and the availability of the necessary assistive listening devices and life aids, will assist numerous people who have hearing impairments to function optimally in the hearing world.

• Access to technological support, assistive devices, communication facilitators like lip speakers or note-takers, is a human right.

• Each individual who has hearing loss has the choice to align with hearing impairment or Deaf culture without discrimination or victimisation.
