1
Peer support
At our organization, we believe in the transformative power of peer support. Our peer support services connect individuals who have faced similar challenges, providing a space for shared experiences and mutual empowerment. By learning from those who have walked the same path, you gain valuable insights and encouragement that help you overcome personal obstacles. Our Global Peer Support Network spans across the world, bringing together people with disabilities, service providers, and advocates. This diverse network fosters a supportive community where experiences are shared, and personal growth is facilitated through honest, constructive feedback and shared wisdom.

Training
We offer comprehensive training programs in close cooperation with the NCPD designed to enhance awareness and understanding of hearing loss and deafness. Our training sessions are tailored to meet the needs of various audiences, from professionals in the field to community members and educators. These programs cover a range of topics, including effective communication strategies, inclusive practices, and the latest advancements in hearing technology. By equipping participants with the knowledge and skills they need, we aim to build a more informed and inclusive society that recognizes and addresses the needs of individuals who have hearing loss.

Accessibility
Ensuring accessibility is central to our mission. We are committed to removing barriers and creating environments where everyone can participate fully. This includes offering resources and services in formats that accommodate various needs, such as assistive technologies and accessible communication options. We work to improve physical spaces and digital platforms to be inclusive and welcoming.
By addressing these accessibility challenges, we aim to foster greater inclusion and ensure that individuals who have hearing loss or deafness can engage fully in all aspects of life and society.

We also provide assessments for persons who have hearing loss in close cooperation with the structures of the NCPD to identify and address barriers to equal participation and opportunities. These assessments aim to ensure that individuals who have hearing loss have equal access to:
Communication: Understanding spoken language, phone calls, meetings, and training.
Safety: Alerting systems, alarms, and emergency notifications.
Job tasks: Modifying tasks or providing accommodations to ensure equal performance.
Common assessments for persons who have hearing loss in workplaces may include:
-
Communication Access Assessments: Evaluating communication barriers and recommending solutions like lip speakers, captioning, or assistive listening devices.
-
Workplace Accommodation Assessments: Identifying necessary accommodations, such as modified job tasks, assistive technology, or changes to the physical environment.
-
Auditory Accessibility Assessments: Evaluating the auditory environment and recommending improvements, like reducing background noise or installing induction loops.
These assessments help employers to:
